Stories from the Road
During my late twenties I refused to be sedentary. I pursued many an adventure, often by coach. For me, the motorcoach offered endless possibilities for adventure without breaking the bank. I considered myself a free spirit who loved getting off the beaten path and experiencing new places, new faces, new sights and local cultures in an in-depth way only a motorcoach could offer. I could affordably and conveniently venture out on the open road and experience the scenic vistas of North America’s best highways and byways without the stress or hassles of being behind the wheel, fighting traffic, paying tolls, dealing with confusing directions or costly and inconvenient mechanical breakdowns, drowsiness or boredom. I could instead sit back and use my leisure time to watch a film, listen to my iPod, play cards, read a novel, or journal about my trip. I can’t remember a time where I didn’t also make a new acquaintance or connect with a fellow traveler on board. Without the responsibility of driving and navigating the roads, I could actually enjoy the road trip in its entirety. For me, each
vacation began when I set foot on the bus, not when I arrived at my destination. Motorcoaches have made travel fun again!

Coming back from Europe with 15 active teenagers in tow - nothing looked better than that coach/bus I had hired. I had been doing these school to school exchanges for several years and had tried many different types of transportation as my pick up from New York's Kennedy Airport.
Parents didn't always show up, vans were too small, and I was just plain exhausted after traveling 20+ hours with the kids. I had no interest in driving another 300 miles to get the students back to
school or their individual homes. Nothing was as wonderful as that coach waiting for us at the airport -- it took all the responsibilities off my shoulders and let me recuperate. Thanks!
